Enrollment Information Afya Public Charter School is open to all middle grades students in Baltimore City. Like all public charter schools in Baltimore City, students are chosen by lottery, not by grades or tests scores. Lotteries are held in February of each school year. Applications will continue to be accepted after the lottery. Applications received after the lottery will be placed on the school’s waiting list and offered a slot should space become available.
